Farmgate Cafe

The Farmgate cafe is a large expansive cafe located in the Old English Market off Grand Parade in Cork City.It is generally used by shoppers who want to rest up and have a bite to eat after a days shopping. They serve generally traditional food here, nothing fancy just good home cooked food. What is a put off to some people though is that you have to order at the counter before you take your seat,this can be quite off-putting if there is a large que ahead of you, also the value for money is not that great, generally the portion sizes are smaller and many meals will not fill you up, this can be a good thing though if your just taking a break in the middle of a shopping trip, dont want to be feeling sluggish walking around with bags! all in all an ok place to visit if your just looking for a quick bite.
